The countdown has begun for the much-awaited Pro Kabaddi League 2025 season 12. With just days left for the action to kick off, the complete schedule, match timings, team squads, and player lists for PKL 2025 have already been released. The PKL 12 auction, held on May 31 and June 1, 2025, in Mumbai, brought plenty of surprises.

Pro Kabaddi League 2025 Schedule

Pro Kabaddi League 2025 is set to start from August 29, 2025, and the final is likely to be played in November first week. The defending champions, Haryana Steelers, are aiming to clinch their second PKL title this season.

The PKL Season 12 is organized by Mashal Sports and hosted in India. Featuring 12 teams, the tournament follows a double round-robin format, followed by playoffs. A total of 137 matches are scheduled to be played throughout the season.

Pro Kabaddi League Auction 2025

Pro Kabaddi League action was held on May 31 and June 1, 2025, in Mumbai, in which 529 players participated. A total of 121 players were sold across 12 teams in the PKL 2025 auction, with Mohammadreza Shadloui Chiyaneh emerging as the most expensive player. He was signed by Gujarat Giants for a record-breaking ₹2.23 crores.

It is worth noting that Mohammadreza Shadloui was the highest tackle points scorer in PKL Season 11, which makes his status as the most expensive player in PKL 2025 well deserved.

The players were grouped into four categories – category A, B, C, and D, with category A being the premier and then the subsequent. In Pro Kabaddi auction 2025, the total amount spent is ₹59.064 cr, and Puneri Paltan becomes the top spender with an expense of ₹5.00Cr (maximum purse limit).

Pro Kabaddi League 2024 Winner

Haryana Steelers won their maiden title in Pro Kabaddi League season 2024 after defeating Patna Pirates by 32-23. The final match took place on December 29, 2024, at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex in Pune. Shivam Patare scored 9 raid points and 4 tackle points, while Shadloui added 7 points.

In the final match, Devank scored 5 raid points for Patna, and Gurdeep had 6 tackle points. However, Mohammadreza Shadloui score the most tackle points (82) and most successful tackles (78) in PKL Season 11.
