In the 5th group stage match of Champions Trophy 2025, Virat Kohli slammed his 51st century and became the 3rd cricketer to score 14000 runs. Kohli took only 287 innings to achieve this milestone with the help of his latest century against Pakistan. With this achievement, Virat broke Sachin Tendulkar’s record of 350 innings for the same feat.

Virat Kohli showcased his batting prowess by scoring a brilliant century, scoring up 100 runs off 111 balls, and stylishly striking 7 delightful fours throughout his innings. His performance was marked by two significant partnerships that underscored his skill and determination.

With Shubman Gill, he forged a solid alliance, amassing 69 vital runs together. Later, alongside Shreyas Iyer, Kohli’s mastery continued as they built an impressive partnership of 114 runs, culminating in his well-deserved century.

Along with this, Virat Kohli also became the only player in the world with 51 centuries while maintaining an impressive average of 58.20. He is also among the players who has most runs in test cricket for India.
